Okay so I just kind of binged this entire thing and I have a LOT to say.
First, with both generations, each character has their own, distinct voice, and their personalities really shine through in their words. It's just, so entertaining and natural to read for both of them and that's absolutely fantastic I seriously applaud you for it.
Next, Alex and Jade. Gosh, I LOVE Jade. It's not every day you see a woman in control of her sexuality and isn't shamed for it, even in fanworks, so it's so refreshing that how the story - and Alex - handle her! And Alex is an absolutely DARLING, I found myself super attached to him from chapter 1, wanting him to succeed. I was so relieved when he finally found his calling, he deserves it definitely. He found his place in the world just like he said!
And their DAUGHTERS. They're all absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait to see more of Gabriella (she looks so cute!). And Diego too. What a sweetheart he is. All of them really, the second generation's cast is super precious.
