It is possible with mods.
If implemented in the game, it should be optional. Chaos is fun sometimes, but in Sims, if you had an accidental pregnancy, your only option is to have a baby. I don't want my game feel like it's a conservative country, I would rather have a ponyland and play with mods if I want some drama.
