Summer | Week 2 - Part I: What Time Is It? Summertime!
Highlights
Monday - After a relaxing Sunday, the Holdens were ready to start a new week. It was summer break, so school was out for the summer! While Wade was at work, Darla took the kids to the Town Square Play Park to play with their friends for the day.

They spent all day at the park until Wade was off from work, then the Holden family went to Goldy’s Griddle for dinner. The kids love it when they get breakfast for dinner!

After dinner, they went home, changed into their comfy clothes, and watched a family-friendly movie to close out the night.

Tuesday - Father’s Day has arrived! Every year for father’s day, the family goes up to Granite Falls to celebrate. Wade is an outdoorsy sim, and he loves Granite Falls because it’s the best place to camp out and enjoy all that nature has to offer. This year, they went to the Little Jackalope Camp. Once they arrived, they all made their way to the beautiful waterfall to enjoy some fishing together - Wade's fav outdoor activity!

Once they were done fishing, they all had empty, growling stomachs. They made their way back to the camp to roast their fish over an open fire.

They swam in the lake, had water balloon fights, and played soccer until the night fell. Once it got dark, they went back to the firepit to tell campfire stories. Wade told a story about vampires, which really scared the kids, so Darla gave them peace of mind with a princess story before bed!

Wednesday - Once the Holden fam got home from Granite Falls, Darla discovered that Nemo got sick while they were away. She took him to the vet and found out it was just fleas! She’s not sure how he got them since he’s an indoor cat. Anyway, she went back home with a healthy flea-less cat! After they got back home, Wade went back to work as he was watching the kids, and Darla took the kids to the Bathe de Rill to take a dip in the pool during the day.

After hanging out at the pool all day, they met Wade at the Garden of Eatin’, a trendy vegetarian restaurant, for dinner. Once finished with dinner, they went back home each family member focused on their own hobbies for the rest of the night.

Thursday - Summerfest is the last holiday of the summer season! The Holdens celebrated by going to the Splash Uptown Park in the city. The first thing they did was enjoy the splash zone!

Once everyone started to get hungry, they got blue moon ice cream - so festive!

Then they had a little trick slide contest on the slip n’ slide.

To end the celebration, they broke out the sparklers and watched the San Myshuno Summerfest firework show!
