Background: Damien is the son of Lilith Crowe and Caleb Vatore. Growing up he was always a little off preferring solitude, art and books and throwing the occasional fit when someone got into his space. He talked more to himself than other people so it was surprising to others to learn he was an avid appreciator of sim form. He liked to paint, his greatest muse being negative emotions such as sorrow and anger in those he paints. He wants to capture the most morbid flaws of the world because to him they are beautiful beyond words. He has a romantic soul, despite his lack of practice in actually dealing with people. His mother always thought her son would grow out of his strange habits but she could never do anything about it because for the longest time she was mortal and he was born a vampire. However she was turned recently by Caleb and the two mustered their powers of persuasion and forced Damien to be committed to a recently reopened asylum in Forgotten Hollow shortly after he graduated from school.
