Burglars robbing your house at night was a part of The Sims series. Burglars even appeared at the window in Create a Sim in The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out for console.
And for the players that want to play safe without burglars there maybe could be an option to disable burglars in Game Options menu.
I would love if they would implent burglars in a patch.
Sims4 world and the whole campaigning thing is so happy and light and safe, it looks kinda salesman propaganda-ish...
