@reanseih @jeromesimsworld I feel I am beginning to understand what you mean haha. Yes it definitely does not look like a house anyone would own. It was my second build ever in Sims 4 and my first attempt at a modern build in the game, it is definitely not my strongest style haha. Been definitely trying to create builds more recently that follow what an actual house might look like, from layout to design and decor.
Could I ask if you might have any pictures of what you might like, whether actual houses or other builds in Sims? I admit I'm a little lost still regarding how to create something simple and spacious. One thing I could do is to rework the modern build I linked above, keeping only the main housing structure, delete the bells and whistles, like the garage, the giant pool, the basement area in the backyard, all the balconies and giant pillars, and then leave space for you to build a backyard as you see fit (I can keep the entrance as it is, as it is rather simple without the other stuff). Is that what you mean?
