Even Sarek, not to mention his son, has failed on employing only logic.😊
In movie nro 4 , memory test was a Federation computer-run performance tool , used to test the memory of previously incapacitated individuals. The questions asked by the computer were based on its knowledge of the individual's background, skills and species. Spock took it on Vulcan. He failed in last question, "How do you feel?"
Later, after events of the movie , Spock came up with a possible answer to the question – "I feel fine" – which he told Sarek to convey to Amanda.
Bree should follow her heart. In my opinion.
Yes, even full Vulcans can fail to use Logic. That's what I found so interesting about the original Star Trek. They delved into the characters more than in the later incarnations of the show. Spock was always trying to be more Vulcan than human. I was glad when he came back to the Enterprise after his interrupted attempt at the Kolinarh, which would have divorced him from all emotions, had he succeeded, he finally came to the understanding the Logic without feeling was moot. Or words to that effect.
I say, it's a darn good thing Brianna has such a brother in Erik.
