"Car & Kart Restoration" kit

This kit will add new gameplay objects:


  • Restorable junk car: like in TS2 and TS3, Sims must restore a car. Now in two different models: normal and classic one, to resemble TS2 and TS3 models.
  • Restorable junk go-kart: a vehicle for restoration, but for childrens. If Parenthood is installed, adult sims can help children sims.


Restoration doesn't need a skill, only handiness skill. Childrens will have now access to handiness skill with this kit.

Garage clutter items are also included, mostly based and inspired by TS3 - Fast Lane SP: peg board with tools, tools drawer, road signs, tires and a new crafting table.

However, unless a update to drive cars is released, restored cars and go-karts will only be selled and used as whoo-hoo spot. If a update is released, restored cars and go-karts will be used to drive to work or to school (in case of childrens)

    I'm not into cars myself so probably wouldn't buy it, but I do think this is a really good game-play kit idea.

    Maybe Sims could also sleep in their restored cars. Could be good for a homeless Sim or rags to riches. :smile:
