Create preset outfits, build a world, better babies, and other fun ideas!

Ok I'm going to do this like a list because I think about it too much. The list isn't in any order.

1. I would like the ability to create my own preset fashions and make it so that all randomly generated townies/sims who age up pick from THOSE instead of random pieces of clothing.
2. I would like a baby we can move around, carry, take places, and furniture for the sim babies. It could begin with a similar animation to the puppy carry.
3. Vampires that turn into wolves too. This can be done in a free update using the animations from dogs, wolf howls, and a near clone of the bat power...not sure how to put it together but it's conceivably doable.
4. More supernatural sims.
5. Build a world...now I have never been able to build worlds but I miss having a lot of variety to my games...this could(I know enough to make tech support not laugh at me so this may be wrong) be implemented by creating 2-8 slots with a specialised tag on them for custom worlds so they don't conflict with current/future worlds - using the sims 2 world tags for example you would have N001 for Willow Creek but CN001 for the first custom created world. The thing is the worlds would be limited by the way the game works as they would be loaded each time which is why I'm suggesting a set amount of them so that it doesn't cause issues with space.
6. Tag, hide and seek, hopscotch, kick the can, and other children's games for all ages...I REALLY miss cops and robbers as well as tag. I miss games my sims can play without toys.
7. Bring back peek a boo.
8. Swimmable oceans and lakes, wading, surfing, boats, sand castles and other wonderful beach things.
9. SLEDDING we have natural hills in the game there can be a small routing bit installed to allow sims to sled, fall down the hill, roll don the hill, and ride a wagon down the hill.
10. Bikes, trikes, wagons that can be pulled or ridden in, skates(only pavement is needed not a rink).
11. Teaching children/teens/toddlers more things...I want to be able to have parents cook with their kids - like the kid pulls up a stool and stands by the counter occasionally throwing a spice or food into the mixing bowl. This would take longer and make a larger mess. If your sims have shoes that have laces they stumble around unless they have a point in the shoe tie skill parents can help the younger sims learn. Parents should help be able to help their children fish, ride a bike, play the piano.
12. Seriously do SOMETHING with kids and teens, toddlers are well thought out these stages need more interactions, games, and fun things in them.
13. Playground equipment - slides, seesaws, sandboxes, treehouses(note these should be like the tree decorations where you have about 5 preset types that have customisable options and only work with one or two trees. The sims should be able to build them personally and if constructed poorly it falls down and causes injuries or a dazed moodlet), merry go rounds, carousels, spring riders, etc
14. More sports...baseball, football, soccer, volleyball, tether ball, etc. Depending on the sport these should be able to be played with 2-8 sims(maybe more).
15. Can we have fireflies in all worlds and chase butterflies with a net?
16. Kites, just kites.
17. Better detective events/choices...the cases are boring and repetitive. Maybe show us the evidence and let us actually SOLVE the thing? Put some deduction into it. Maybe add politics and management into the higher levels? Please!?!
18. Family reunion events.
19. Run and stock a food stall.
20. Hot air balloons, gliders, and parachutes...complete with accidents.
21. Can we have the neighborhoods functions like apartments? Where if we visit a neighbor then it doesn't load unless we knock on the door?

Welp that's all for now, I'll have crazier ideas later.

  • All of these, seriously.

I see some of these are done in TS2 (which I played the most). I have no idea why a seemingly better version of TS2 (TS4) couldn't add these simple little details earlier…
  • Even more than creating preset fashion (although that would be a godsend, too), I'd like an option to simply copy an outfit from one section to another. Who doesn't know the problem, you're in the middle of creating a formal outfit, then realise it looks more like something your sim would wear at a party, and instead of simply copying it to the corresponding section, you have to start all over again, including hair, makeup, accessories and everything. With vampires, you can actually copy entire outfits from their normal form to the dark form anytime, so the groundwork for a function like that is definitely there.

I don't need to create my own worlds (I don't even build my own houses anymore because of the omnipresent major annoyance that is the roof), but it would be nice if we could at least change a few things about the existing ones, such as lot sizes, climate, or put a few interesting interactive objects here and there so sims have a reason to leave their home lots every now and then. So many beautiful worlds and nothing to do in them, it's just sad.

Not sure how I feel about the idea of vampires turning into wolves, that's a completely different species of supernatural we're talking here, but while we're on it, yes, more supernaturals please (*cough* witches *cough*). And more sports, too! I'd love to have football in my game, even if it's just sims taking shots at a goal like it was in TS2.

Definitely yes to all of these. :)

I feel these would fit nicely in a generations(more for all ages) and freetime (more hobbies in general) blended pack. The addition of hobbies with it to me makes it stand out enough from parenthood
