The Real World: San Myshuno

I've been watching The Challenge reruns, and it reminded me of the Real World episodes. I decided to build a place for The Real World: San Myshuno. I wanted it near a downtown area and not in the suburbs so, San Myshuno was the world. I don't play there much, and I thought the festivals would give the roommates places to go and things to do. Obviously, you can place the lot (30x30) wherever you like. Or. place several in different worlds. I plan on using CAS to randomize the roommates. Four guys and four girls.

The building itself if an old deco bank building that closed during the flu which must not be named. Location spotters saw it and decided it would make a great house. It was the Old Salt House.

The first floor has the main entrance which is two stories tall with two staircases going up. To the left of the entry is the Moschino Living room. Behind that is a raised platform with a ping pong table and two motion sensor game mats facing each other so it appears they are fighting each other. Beyond that is more gaming in the corner with the big video game machine, card table and foosball table and a British phone box for calling home. To the right of the entry is the Book Nook library with a piano. Past that is the deep blue kitchen with the outside wall containing two refrigerators and two sinks. Opposite, against the stairs are pantry cabinets. In the middle is the ovens, dishwasher, and snack bar all surrounding a deep blue aquarium. Beyond that is the eating area with two outdoor, cement picnic tables, a bar and VAULT wall cabinets. Near the rear doors is a Strangerville juke box and plant containment cell with a tendril in it.

Up the stairs to the second floor is the bedrooms and bathrooms. On the left is the boy's area and on the right is the girls. Both have double beds (for smashing), a dressing area with two big closets for crying, hiding or woohoo and a computer setup. Beyond that is a room with an "island" sink cluster of four sinks, one for each. There are two water closet rooms each with a SHUB (shower/tub combo) and a talking toilet to keep them entertained. Both sides have these rooms and in-between, at the top of the stairs, is a Japanese sitting area to talk and relax.

The basement which once was where the vault was located, now has the "fun" rooms. The stairs down are located in the left, front corner where the manager's office might have been. At the bottom of the stairs is an open exercise room. To the rear is a room containing a hot spring with two open showers. Next to the exercise room, is an Artist Studio to build skills. Behind that, next to the spa, is the Casanova Cave for hanging out. A hallway separates the Casanova Cave and the Artist Studio and leads to a one lane bowling alley with bar hangout space.

Outside the rear doors, is a patio space with a pool, sun lounging space, seating, Romeo and Juliette's arbor with a firepit and seating. There is a basketball goal and a splash pad with mushroom water emitter. As they usually give the roommates a "job" to do, there is a fenced in area for a few chickens and mini goats to sell the eggs and milk. On one side of the building is the "Jaws of Death Water Slide".

  • Your San Myshuno build is great! 🙂It is a great that it is located where the Old Salt house was, and that it is a converted bank building. It was great reading about each of the areas and levels  in the build, and the outdoors areas.
