You seem to be getting your eras mixed up.
1500's is the Renaissance period, not Gothic.

If you want french themed stuff, ask for a french themed pack. Venice is not in France, so no one would expect it to contain french themed stuff.


In all, I think this would be better if it was a different city.

Amsterdam is known as the Venice of the North, as it too has canals and is romantic.
Utrecht is in the Netherlands, has canals and Gothic architecture. Theres also a museum full of clockwork musical instruments/music boxes. Museum Speelklok

I actually am a South African, so I can say relatively accurate stuff here!

I'm a little confused. Why would you suggest Venice (a city), then suggest Africa (an entire continent)?

Perhaps it might be more coherent to look at a single country? Morocco is in Africa, and has it's own style. Ethiopia is pretty interesting, and isn't quite what most people imagine it to be. Namibia and Rwanda are both in Africa, but are quite different.

I think most suburban neighbourhoods have something like that close by. I know mine has. Only a few km from the CBD, and there's loads of branch dropping gums, grumpy koalas, dozens of noisy, destructive cockatoos, swoop happy maggies, and deadly brown snakes.
