2: Venice
Build mode would include mostly Gothic Period type stuff so we can make the ultimate Royal build of our dreams. Get Together added some nice European stuff, but I'm thinking more 1500's Massive Cathedral or Elaborate Castletype of stuff.
You seem to be getting your eras mixed up.
1500's is the Renaissance period, not Gothic.
CHEESE MAKING
Is Venice known for it's cheeses?
cool new recipes (fancy pasta, cold sliced meats, lots of finger food basically, frog legs )If you want french themed stuff, ask for a french themed pack. Venice is not in France, so no one would expect it to contain french themed stuff.
In all, I think this would be better if it was a different city.
Amsterdam is known as the Venice of the North, as it too has canals and is romantic.
Utrecht is in the Netherlands, has canals and Gothic architecture. Theres also a museum full of clockwork musical instruments/music boxes. Museum Speelklok

You want french stuff? What about Annecy? It's in France, and has canals.
3: Africa
I actually am a South African, so I can say relatively accurate stuff here!
I'm a little confused. Why would you suggest Venice (a city), then suggest Africa (an entire continent)?
Perhaps it might be more coherent to look at a single country? Morocco is in Africa, and has it's own style. Ethiopia is pretty interesting, and isn't quite what most people imagine it to be. Namibia and Rwanda are both in Africa, but are quite different.
Instrument: drums; new dances unlocked when someone is playing the drumsDrums are something the game is lacking.

Many may not agree with this but Australia,
give us a little coastal NeighbourhoodSmall beach towns are a big thing here (since the vast majority of the population live within 20km of the coast, and aside from the majority who live in the cities,) it's the beach towns that are the place to be.
a typical suburban NeighbourhoodFull of bogans?
a hiking Neighbourhood with lots of Eucalyptus trees and a few other Native plantsI think most suburban neighbourhoods have something like that close by. I know mine has. Only a few km from the CBD, and there's loads of branch dropping gums, grumpy koalas, dozens of noisy, destructive cockatoos, swoop happy maggies, and deadly brown snakes.
an Outback Neighbourhood, maybe with Uluru in the BackgroundWhy be so boring and stereotypical?
Why not Coober Pedy, where just about everyone lives under the ground?
What about Broken Hill, where the early mad max movies were made, and where there now is a huge solar array?
What about a small town serviced by the Indian Pacific train?
please, do not give us Sydney and call it AustraliaYep. Boring.
we have a vast landscape and there is no need to generaliseYeah, no Uluru either.
