Brindleton Bay "Ren! Ren, where are you!" An older Japanese man, Hinata, called out and found his niece in the kitchen. "Natsumi, have you seen your brother?"
"Take a lucky guess," Natsumi replied.

Ren Yoshida was gazing at the ocean, enjoying the cool breeze...only to have his peace be interrupted by his uncle.

"Oh come now," Ren laughed. "What's wrong with that? The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face...a perfect day to be out rather than being stuck inside and doing boring stuff."

"A fine strong wind and following sea it is!" a sailor, Lucian, said. "Looks like King Triton must be in a friendly mood."
"King Triton?" Ren asked.

"Merpeople, bah!" Hinata shouted. "Pay no attention to these nautical nonsense!"
"Oh but it ain't nonsense," Lucian said. "It's the truth. I'm tellin' ya, down in the depths o' the sea they live. My grandfather actually met one a long time ago when his boat sunk during a storm, and it saved his life."
"Whoa..." Ren gasped.
"I still say it's nonsense. Probably drank a bit too much of salt water," Hinata accused and grabbed his nephew by the arm.

Sulani It was a nice sunny day at the tropical island of Sulani. The weather was perfect to have fun at the beach and a nice swim, and that's what this individual was about to do.

"Caspian!" The said man looked back to see his friends running towards him.
"Lilo!" Caspian called out, laughing. "Gotta keep up!"
"You know I can't run as fast as you," Lilo complained as she was catching her breath.
"What? You're like the most energetic in all of Sulani," the blond man commented.

"Now that we're here, what should we do?" Lilo asked.
"Like we always do, go for a swim," Caspian responded.

"Don't be such a wuss, Makoa," Lilo teased. "Last one there is a rotten fish!"

"Caspian?" Aurora called out, then found her daughters lounging in the living room. "Girls, have you seen your brother?"
"He said he's going out with his friends," Mariana replied.

"Maybe we should've put a leash on that boy," Erika pointed out, ignoring her wife's glare.

The sisters looked at one another, then responded in sync, "Misty."
"What?! Why me?!" Misty complained.

Later on... "What'd I say about the sharks?" Makoa asked, glaring at the duo.
"Shut up," Caspian groaned.
He and Lilo got a bit too far from shore and nearly got attacked by a shark. Thankfully their aquatic friends, the dolphins, distracted the shark for the two friends to swim back to shore safely. https://i.imgur.com/qmEipoX.png
"Not our fault we wanted to have fun," Lilo complained.
"If your parents ever found out what happened-" Makoa started.
"I know, I know," Lilo snapped. "They'll flip out and would never let me see you guys again."

"Okay guys, I think we have enough for today," Caspian said.
"How can you be so calm after what happened?" Makoa asked.
"Yes, it was bad, but at least we made it back in one piece."

"No need to act all innocent, time to head back home," Misty said.
Caspian groaned and waved at his friends. "See ya guys."
