Difficulty finding good content.... Sims in particular on the gallery, tips please!!

If you search from in your game, there is also a column on the left side that says "View Content By:" In that column is a selection that says "... Packs" Click on the three dots. You can then select which packs you have and items that include other packs will be excluded.

This way you can search for any combination of packs, not just for a single pack like you can with a hashtag.
