Even I want a direct control for the Sims 4 PC, it was awesome controlling the Sims directly on TS2 and TS2 pets for PS2.
Totally agree, I think they really missed the mark not including the option in all the games. I've played since sims 1, so i'm used to the standard controls, but I dont think I ever used anything but direct control in the sims 2 console version. It makes you feel more involved, instead of just a spectator.
