Good point. But almost everyone who complains about this has already been picked. In some cases more than once.
But I know, some people simply cannot be satisfied with one cookie at a time. They want more, more and more.
This attitude can affect the community in a very bad way. Something I think we all have seen (drama, as you described it).
The title of the Maxis thread is actually something I wanted to mention a while back, but I think I forgot about it.
I think the title had a fun (positive) vibe attached to it at first. Probably because I didn't take it too seriously. Because
once again, what looks "best" in my eyes might not be the "best" in everyone else's eyes. I knew they were just looking for
our opinions, and then decide for themselves if they agree or not. Sorta like giving them a "hey look at this!".
I think others might have taken it all a little bit too seriously. It is not written in stone how a house should look in order
to get picked by Maxis. Is that a bad thing? I personally don't think so. I think we, as creators, can evolve more without this
and we will certainly see more variety when it comes to creations. Imagine if everyone built the same thing :p Just to get picked.
Now where's the fun in that? I think they're just looking for creativity :) And that is also, once again, very subjective, lol!
But anyways. Maybe Recommend Creations for the Maxis tab would be a better title? :)
