I have always thought that it would be very realistic if there was a joint custody arrangement if parent sims got divorced or split up. You could even set the arrangements. The kids would go to said parent every other weekend, 3 days a week...whatever. You could even take the kids to your ex or have your ex come pick them up! Also, I know it is probably a debatable issue when it comes to the topic of teen pregnancy, but it is realistic. There could even be an option for the teen to choose adoption for their baby or keep it. Haven't really thought that one through, it just came to me, I may feel differently about it with more thought. Lol. I miss the private school option too!!!

Is it possible when our sims get married to have the female last name switch and/or hyphenate? I don't like my male sim marrying a female sim and their last names not being the same... Maybe there could be an option for that?

All of the above. I hate it if I split up a couple then the kids don't ever see the other parent. My parents were divorced and I saw my father plenty. Why can't my poor little simmies have the same?

And if one of the parents is terrible then the other parents gets full custody instead of being taken by child services.If this idea gets implemented I can't wait to see the forums explode with; "My wife took the kids, how can I get them back?"

I like the joint custody it is realistic and also child support from the parent that's not in the child's life. I would also like a School Stuff/Game pack specifically for Teens and Kids if University don't come up with stuff like that.

Neat idea and something some players have requests many times since TS2. I don't think it will ever happen in TS4.
