Proudly Presenting: Suburban Villa 3
http://i.imgur.com/YMUOShA.png
Type: Residential
Bedrooms: 5
Bathrooms: 4
Size: 40 x 30
Backstory
This one actually started when I saw a build request for a 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom house...with a pool...and nice backyard with a garden...and a furnished basement (thanks for the request though, it was fun!). Given the specifications, I figured the most appropriate size would be a 40 x 30 lot, and my suburban villa series was long overdue for the next installment. Then I saw the request had a budget of only 145,000 and accounting for lot prices, the house would probably have to cost less than 140,000. So I thought it would be a fun challenge to make the house look as fancy as possible while staying within budget. And in the end, the total only came up to 139,374. The downside, of course, is that I knew either exterior or the internal furnishing would have to be very bare bones. But I suppose people can just upgrade the furniture as they play, and first impressions count in the gallery, so I decided to focus on the exterior and left the interiors a bit more modest than my usual builds.

I promise you it's furnished! But the interiors are just a bit too bland and I didn't feel like struggling with the camera bouncing everywhere just to take some pictures of a few dinky chairs...
