A single dream world would be enough, I think. It could take on different flavors depending on the dream by means of SFX effects. The way Strangerville has a very different atmosphere in each stage of the story.
Dreams could function like scored social events, with goals to fulfill. Depending on how the sim failed they get good or bad moodlets, maybe at the highest tier a reward like a new recipe or song. Something that could believeavle have gotten inspired by the dream and that isn't a material object.
I would make Lucid dreaming a skill, maybe a 5 level one. The higher the skill, the more the event gauge fills with each objective fulfilled.
