Making money can be very easy in the sims 4. I would like some sort of difficulty option that impact the wages and bills. More difficult settings would be lower wages and higher costs. More easy settings than we currently have would not be needed in my opinion. It should be totally optional so players can choose between the current settings and a more difficult one.
When it comes to more things to do with money in game, it would be realistic to have to spend money for new clothes. An endless free wardrobe is not realistic. Get to work can help but you can only buy one outfit which is created on the mannequin in advance. A system like the sims 2 base game would be more realistic. In that game you start with only the clothing you select in CAS and have to buy more clothing to be added to your families wardrobe. You would have to go to a shop and browse for clothing and select any clothing item from cas. Sims could even buy clothing for their children and toddlers.
Another thing I would like is travelling costs. A small fare for travelling to a neighbourhood within your world and a larger fare for travelling between worlds. The smaller fare can stand for bus fares, taxis or gas for your car. The larger fares can be long distance trains or planes. I tried to implement this in my game by keeping track of my sims movements and then use the money cheat to reduce family funds. but this needs constantly keeping track of travelling and always waters down after a few in game days.
I would also like an option to no longer get a free furniture from leveling up in careers or completing social events with gold. Just unlocking these items would be enough. I also stopped using the gnome tradition for the harvest fest holiday because the free seed packages and gnomes give too much money.
What do you mean with an item service. Could you please give an example?

We can make loads of money even without cheats. It would be nice to have an economy system implemented that could even vary by worlds. How about an item service that would release unique, rare and possibly expensive items in intervals online? Or maybe more things to do in game worlds that cost money so you actually have usage for currency.
