I feel like everything would kind of be stereotypical though.. red buses and telephone boxes are only in London, the same goes for black cabs and such.
Nonetheless I'd enjoy this kind of EP so long as it included other normal British things, rather than just the obvious choices.
That's true, but they're also iconic symbols of the UK that's immediately recognizable to those outside of it. If you showed a typical town of Bristol or Cardiff, most people wouldn't have a clue what country it was unless there were flags flying or something. It would be like having a city patterned after Cleveland, Ohio. Few people, even in the US would be able to identify it.
@Piperbird1 Alaska is awesome, isn't it? We spent almost three weeks there, and a day in Vancouver and one in Seattle this summer. Loved it.
Yes, I did a cruise. I spent a few days in Seattle (I had always wanted to see Seattle!) The cruise went up into Alaska with shore excursions in Alaska and Canada. It was unbelievably beautiful up there. It was my first time ever outside the Eastern time zone. I could live in Seattle or Vancouver I think, except for all the rain all the time. I live in Louisville now, the weather is nice most of the time, the Ohio River saves us from most of the bad weather, and I am pretty spoiled, weather-wise.
