Being a brit i love playing the sims, its american styled (obvs it being made american and being based in america) it makes it so much fun living the american life style... Mail boxes, styles of homes, pools (soon) etcHowever... How would american simmers feel if they went british style? London town, country style?

Actually, they I think they should. Big Ben and all that.

I think other than picturing double-decker buses, driving on the wrong side of the road, and fog, most of us have no idea what you might be suggesting. :)

I would enjoy it. I loved WA just for the chance to see other countries. I have no idea how accurate they were, but I really liked them. Being a rather poor American, it is very unlikely I will ever get the chance to ever see another country, excepting the time I went into Canada for the day, and that looked just the same as home.Do you not have mail boxes in Britain? Do you just have the smaller boxes on the front of the house by the door instead?

I am British and YES! That sounds like a great idea =) Old castles, beautiful green meadows on the contrast with grey gloomy sky! Oh I miss England so much... Besides pubs would be so much fun lol

I would love to see a British town or village but even if EA/Maxis did do that how many people (parents I suspect) would say "how come my son/daughter's "Johny's" sim (which is a child) allowed to go into a pub-aren't they for YAs?" (Not that I think its matters in this case since sims children can attend the drink places) since Pubs in North America means a place where one goes to get 'juiced'.

@the Oxford people, did you know the Alice in Wonderland author worked at the local university in Oxford which dinning hall which was used for the first two Harry Potter movies?

@everyone else: did you know Henry the VIII is buried in St.George's chapel, at Windsor casle next to his 3rd wife, Jane Seymour (I saw it with my own eyes the grave).

Should just petition for some UK based game developers to make a UK based version of this game, make it better while your at it and I promise to not care about the imaginary geographical location its set in.

When you say 'garden' you mean entire yard? Here a garden is IN the yard, and is the section you have flowers or vegetables planted in. If I had gone out to play in the garden as a child, I would have had a sore backside for trampling the tomatoes.

Watching Top Gear I have learned some terms. The first time I heard "queue barger" I laughed for a long time. That is such a better way of putting it!

Gardens and yards are two different things here. I have a yard, its a small area, concrete floor no grass or anything, a garden would be a grassy area you could have specific areas for flowers or veggies but all of that would be called a garden... if that makes sense.
We have that weird queuing thing here I was out the other night and I found myself queuing at a bar. That's when you know your British!

We don't queue, but depending on where you live here you either stand in line or on line for things.
But I supposed where ever you are, queue bargers and line jumpers all get punched in the face.....

It would be great to have a town for a change from suburbs/city. I feel like the neighborhoods in TS4 could easily be adapted to that.

Gotta admit would be cool to see Double Decker Buses go pasted on sims. Make you feel at home, even though us Brits see this nearly everyday. (More so near London area since it's a transport for London).
