Faery Fae - Cycle 3 - WINNER ANNOUNCED

I asked...you answered! While I had some fabulous input on many other competitions, Faery Fae won out!

This is a fun and fantastical competition that involves creativity and a lot of imagination! It requires you to delve into the faery world and create something fun, enchanting, and beautiful!

Assignments are very wide open to interpretation to give room for full imagination to take hold! This cycle is going to incorporate a little backstory, however, which will influence the way you will do your assignments.

You'll get to sign up as a specific species of fae creature! This competition revolves around fairies, so you'll have to choose between the variety of fairies out there - some winged, some not, some beautiful, some evil and ugly - you get to choose! Whichever background you choose will have to influence the way your photos come out. For example, if you select the mischievous bogle, you'll have to really show his/her hot-headed temperament and perhaps your photos will be a bit darker and edgier.

Male and female sims allowed. Sims 3 or Sims 4 allowed.

No negativity of any kind is allowed - this includes belittling yourself
Editing is recommended, but not required
You are allowed to draw your own clothing, makeup, accessories
Changing your model's eye, skin, or hair color is allowed
Extensions are granted if asked at least 24 hours in advanced
Only the person requesting the extension is allowed to have one
There is no cap on the amount of extensions per person
Extensions are 2 days - unless special circumstances arise
Deadlines are Pacific Standard Time - so adjust accordingly
Assignments last 7 days
Creativity is Key

Might I be reserved? This sounds amazing... And I love creating supernatural art. Although I don't have the supernatural EP yet. How fun this will be... :)

Was bored so started doing the mock for this. Just need to draw hair and play around with effects a bit but then should be done so... can I reserve and, if when the deadline comes I'm way too busy, pull my reserve? Would that be okay?

@Elia: Thanks. The HQ Mod isn't downloading for me though...keeps saying "Temporary Error, retrying" and then gets stuck. :( I'll keep trying. I also don't know where to put the second link you gave me lol I downloaded it, but where does that go?

Mock Assignment l Light Fairy

I was born from the first ray to hit the ocean. I remember the sensation... the soft breeze, the salted air, the glistening of the waves, a deep nauset blue. And the sun, burning bright above it all. My skin glowed under his gaze, pulsing golden-white. I did not know him to be cruel then, only beautiful.

After living for more years than there have been waves in the sea, I could no longer worship him; each time he dragged my sisters and I behind the clouds at night, my love for him dwindled, subsiding to a burning loathing instead.

In the days I dream of the moon, the night, the stars. In my youth I foolishly hoped that maybe - if I shined bright enough - that one day I could join them forever in the heavens. I was young then, but now I bear my light like a martyr for all my sisters to see. The light faery who forever dreams of the dark.

I'm confused by what you're saying here....do you have your headshot or assignment photo ready? Either way, the forum will resize and provide a link to anything larger than like 700pixels wide. But you can also post a link. So I'm not sure what you are saying here...

Last night my dream was that the refrigerator wouldn't shut and I had a meltdown over it.

It seems most of my dreams are sims, building or creating, making edits, or making cc. Its ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT. SOMEONE, PLEASE SEND HELP! LOL!

Most of my dreams are weird, like I dreamed that I was in a war and I had to take down the enemy, and the enemy was Lady Gaga so I killed her while she was sitting at one of the cafeteria tables at my third middle school (that I haven't seen in like two decades O.o) AND I *LIKE* LADY GAGA. So that was super weird.

Then last night I had the dream about the refrigerator and the whole dream was like me shuffling around food to fit and then that wasn't the problem so I duct taped it and then when I looked again the duct tape had VANISHED and I was like... what.

And I just realized I went to a different middle school for each year of middle school. What. *counts* I went to 8 schools before I even started university.
