You *only* get a few years lol (not making fun of you Heather, at all. Just...)
When I took HIGH SCHOOL classes I had to pay for them. Then when I went to community college (which is like, your associate's degree in US) I had to pay OUT THE NOSE for that. There was very little aid I could get because I was emancipated (meaning I had claimed, at 17 years old, independence from my parents.) So it didn't matter what my parents were paid because I was independent of them.
So I had to work to pay for my community college. Met my best friend working though!
When I was in the Navy, we got a choice while we were on hold to go to the next training: Go on T-Track (which is cleaning the barracks and stuff) or go do two uni courses. Of course I picked Uni. They paid for that.
But the uni I went to recently, it was not free, but the VA (department of Veteran's Affairs) paid for it for me. Because I am a disabled veteran at 70% disability. If you're 30% or higher, they give you "vocational rehabilitation" which is basically they pay for your university up to a bachelor's degree.
And yeah Beech just go to sleep already or I'll fly on my broom to your house and shove you full of 5mg melatonin (a supplement that you can buy, but that your body makes, that I take some of to help with sleep since YEARS ago and omg best sleep ever!)
