The pictures vs. posts popularity thing I don't think is anything to do with you.
Many readers probably have enough time/focus to enjoy a picture, but not enough to read a full story chapter, at least not right on the day you post it.
As for this chapter... this one is so hard! :'(
Does Adelise have any friends outside her family? I feel like she needs someone she isn't related to (or married to) that she can confide in and feel connected to.

I also kinda want her to just dump Asher, hard, but I know that may not really fit the character. Some people just don't consider divorce an option no matter what happens.
