1. Asher cares about his relationship with Adelise. I mean, you don't count how often they blink if you don't care (!!), and you definitely don't spend time rehashing a conversation from the other day if you don't care.
2. It was just a remark about her hair color, a small thing.
3. Asher really still doesn't get it and would rather explain why he is right than consider that he hurt his wife's feelings and try to find a way to help her feel more loved. If that happens often between them, that's not a small thing.
