I liked to add couple words to my comment, if I may. About Asher. Well here it goes anyway.

This update changed my mind about him. A lot, actually. I was in shock and angry when he said that brown and Lavender, and annoyed , angryish still when I read his conversation with Liliana. But later when you described his thoughts, I kind of melted a big time. If taking count his own past, his verbal misstakes arent so bad.
He is not saying those to ,hurt, he is just so totally clueless about what hurts , what not. I think he does love Adelise, maybe even more than he realises. Giving up on someone, letting that someone go , because he wishes the other to have best life possible , even if it is not with him,even if it against his best interest, is love, more than anything else.. Usually we see it too late, after reaching point of no return, hopefully Asher wont.
Just saying my own thoughts, all of us think and take these differently. I may be as far from what you meant as south is from north.
Sorry my second ramble, I just did not get to say well what I thought last time, and these two have special spot in my heart as they were first sim couple in first simlit I ever started to read, way back then when I registered in here.
