Thanks! Adelise is definitely confused and you're right about Asher being unpredictable… but Adelise is hopefully less likely to misunderstand him now because he's made it clear that he cares about her. I hope that he only says or does something weird instead of something rude or hurtful.

The horrible thing about the things the folk from her hometown would say to her is they're so ????? realistic, especially blaming the woman for getting with a 'weirdo' guy if he behaves poorly somehow...

Yeah… what's worse is I took some of that almost verbatim from “advice” I've seen around. :( It's on the more extreme side, but it's not even a historical source. I think of your country as being more advanced than average when it comes to things like this, so it makes me sad that it also strikes you as realistic.

Think I'm with San Myshuno on this one. I love the little heart in the snow so much < 3 I still don't know if Adelise can truly make it work though... I just want to hug her…

She doesn't have the easiest time with Asher, but if both of them put in work, it should get better.

Thanks for the comment! I was actually worried that in past chapters, people would blame Adelise for the situations because, instead of telling him how she felt, she would lie to him about being tired or something else and leave whenever he was rude, but I was happy that no one blamed her/noticed that much or at least that everyone seemed to understand where she was coming from because like you say sometimes it can be hard to share if we don't feel supported.

Sometimes I have all of these ideas in my head, but when everyone is speaking a language I don't know that well, I tend to be quieter than usual because I can't figure out how to say what I want. I really don't like that feeling of not being able to join in and I don't want you to experience that either.
