Following The Fords - Legacy Story

Zach starts off his morning by making a delicious fruit salad for breakfast

And the couple sit down to eat. Zach tells Mila that he’s nervous to find out if he’ll get his promotion today, but she reminds him that she believes in him and that he’s an amazing chef, which makes him feel better.

After breakfast, Mila sits down to proofread and finalise her article

And Zach decides to give her some space and heads out for a jog

Once back, he hops in the shower and then gets a little more prep done before work

Mila finishes up her writing and e-mails it to her boss. Now she waits to get feedback.

Before long it’s time for Zach to head off to work. He kisses Mila goodbye and heads out.

Not long after Zach leaves there’s a knock at the door: it’s Mila’s Dad, Henry.

Mila greets her Dad happily and invites him inside, giving him a tour of the house

After the tour, they sit down and Mila updates her Dad on work, her new friends and life in Willow Creek.

Henry tells Mila how proud he is of her – while he had hoped she would attend Britechester University, where he is a professor, he is proud of her for working hard and getting to where she is even without a university degree.

Mila invites Henry to stay for dinner and whips up a lasagne using her an old family recipe

They sit down to eat, the food bringing back great memories for them both

It’s starting to get late, so Henry says goodbye and heads home, promising to visit again soon

Zach isn’t due home until 2am, so Mila decides to take a nap

She is woken up to the sound of Zach arriving home with good news: he got the promotion! He is now a mixologist, earning £35 per hour, and brought home a nice bonus too! Congratulations Zach!

Mila sits with him while he eats some dinner and watches some TV

Before heading to bed, tired and excited – between Zach’s promotion and Mila getting better writing assignments at work, they’re really making their way in the world!
