What a wonderful vacation! We begin our final morning in Sulani in the kitchen with Mila, who’s whipping up a quick watermelon salad before the journey home

They share some food and talk about the vacation and all the amazing things they’ve done – not least getting engaged! They have two options; they can get married soon, or wait and save more money towards a bigger house first. It’s a big decision, and Mila decides she’s going to talk it over with her Dad later today.

Dressed and ready to head off, the couple share one last kiss on the porch before heading home

Returning home to Willow Creek, Zach heads inside to take a nap before work

While he naps, Mila checks the mail. She pays the bills and spots another letter: it’s from a wellness guru; he wants to hire her to transcribe his voice recordings into a self-help book! It offers a good pay out and is great exposure for her!

She decides to call and accept the job straight away!

After accepting the job, Mila changes and gets ready to head out to meet her Dad to coffee to share her news and ask his advice on the wedding date. She kisses Zach goodbye and heads off

Over in Windenberg Mila meets Henry for coffee

She tells him her news, but is thrilled to hear that he already knew: Zach had called and asked his permission before proposing!

She asks his advice on her two options: getting married soon, or waiting until they have saved enough money for a house too. Henry tells her that he knows how practical she is and that she’ll want to put off the wedding so they can move sooner, but he has something to help her with the choice…

He wants to offer to pay towards the wedding! Henry tells Mila that he and her mother had put some money aside to go towards her future, and that this felt like the right time to give it to her. This means she can put it towards the wedding of her dreams, and also put some towards their savings for a new home!

Mila thanks her Dad for the kind gesture, and expresses how grateful she is for him. She asks him officially to give her away at the wedding, to which he of course says yes! The two spend a little more time together before heading home.
Back at home, Mila tells Zach her news about her parent’s savings for her. He’s thrilled and grateful to the Beckett’s for their contribution to their future and makes a mental note to call and thank Henry.

After talking some more about the wedding, Zach heads off to work, and Liberty and Summer head over to get all the gossip from Mila! She breaks open the wine before asking them an important question…

“will you be my bridesmaids?”
Of course! Liberty and Summer agree to be Mila’s bridesmaids, and the couple have decided to get married this Saturday – just 3 days away! There’s a lot to do!
authors note: I know this seems quick but please remember that sim time works much faster: if I waited even a few weeks, they’d be elders!

With just a few days until the wedding Summer suggests they go dress shopping tomorrow! Of course, Mila has some writing to do, but welcomes the chance to go dress hunting with the girls!

With bridesmaids sorted and dress shopping on the cards, Mila decides to head to bed, dreaming of her Mother and the wedding she always spoke to her about growing up…

And that ends another day in the life of Zach and Mila! What will happen next? Will Mila find the dress of her dreams? And how will she find her first gig transcribing? And what else will happen?
