Foods that you would like to see in The Sims 4?

I would love to see more cultural dish sets like those included in city living, but for more cultures. I agree with rice and beans. Chicken noodle soup for sick days, baked pasta dishes, churros con chocolate would be fun, more bean-based dishes, chow mei fun and similar Americanized Chinese food. Waffles would be nice, bubble tea/ boba tea, honestly everything that you wrote, also candy. We have gummy bear pancakes but no gummy bears.
Bringing back food preferences would also be very nice.

I'm Cajun, so I'd enjoy seeing more of the foods that are "normal" for my way of life:

Boudin (my personal favorite)
Dirty Rice (my second favorite)
Jambalaya (any kind, but generic is probably better for the sake of gameplay)
Red Beans and Rice (although real "old school" Cajuns actually eat white beans and rice...... I was raised on it)
Beignets (real Cajuns eat them with Steen's syrup, not powdered sugar like some of the more "touristy" towns do... but whichever works)
Sauce Piquante (could be alligator or shrimp, etc.)
Etouffee (crawfish or shrimp, etc.)
Pralines
Pecan Pie
Boiled Crawfish/Crabs
Fried Okra
Stuffed Bell Peppers
Smothered Steak/Brown Gravy and Rice
If you really wanted to do something that was pure Cajun...... Chadron salad
and maybe some PoBoys and Hush Puppies, etc.

I would add the come back of the natural fruit juices, like in sims 2, when you could use your harvestables.
My favourites: lasagna, pizza and sushi. And cultural food from all over the world.

I want to see
a schnitzel with mashed potatoes and pickled cucumber
tomato sauce with a meatloaf and dumplings
creamy sirloin with dumplings and a little bit of cranberry jam (= the candle sauce)
chicken broth with noodles and mini soup dumplings
czech buns - filled with poppy, prune jam, quark? I didn't find a translation
sweet dumplings filled with plums, apricots, strawberries and coated in poppy ans sugar

I would loooove to see new receipts in the sims ! That would be amazing. I would love to see some korean type of food like bulgogi, different type of stew, bibimbap, red rice cake...

I'd love more recipes in TS4! I agree with a lot of the suggestions above, including more cultural choices. Here's some of the different foods I'd like to have (*note some may be duplicates) and any appliances some may require:

A juicer is a great idea to make smoothies and other drink recipes with additional fruits & veggies to be grown in our gardens such as: pineapple, mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers and even asparagus.
Bagels & Toast - Of course we'd need a toaster or toaster oven would be even better for these along with assorted toppings, like cream cheese, lox, jams, jellies, peanut butter, etc.
Corn - On the cob grown in gardens to be cooked and eaten as is, used as a side dish, casseroles and relish.
Homemade pizza - Need a pizza oven!

Calzones
Casseroles - I think the only ones we have is Tuna & Taco. I'd like to see Goulash, Manicotti, Lasagna, Enchiladas, Ragù Bolognese, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, Cheesy Potato and Shepard's Pie.
Pasties - Michigan or Cornish
Reuben, Gyro and Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Soups - Chicken noodle, bean, broccoli cheese, potato and tomato to dunk our grilled cheese in :) (my kids loved to do that)
BBQ Spareribs
Fried Chicken
Cinnamon Rolls
Beef and/or Venison Stew & Biscuits
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Waldorf Salad
More pies - Rhubarb, Minemeat, Sweet Potato, Turtle, Boston Cream, Blueberry and Peach (bonus if we can grow the rhubarb, blueberries and peaches)

I'll stop here for now. A lot of these dishes are very fattening, but meh. They're delicious! Annnnd, now I'm hungry! ;)
