This. I get that they don't want to make this the default in everyone's game, but this would be a handy solution and compromise to that. I would love to have generated NPCs (or, heck, pre-mades) that were randomized when it came to gender options. Even better, it'd be awesome if we could set percentages for how frequent it is, but that might be too much to ask.

I'd also love it if, when a child ages to teen, there was a chance that that sim would age up with as a different gender, or with the gender setting changed from whatever the default was. Again, with the option to turn this off (and obviously, you could always change it you wanted). Or maybe some option at age up to "roll for gender" or something. Right now, I go to a random number site to determine if the child wants to shift their gender when they age up (I set it at a low chance, to reflect statistical reality, but I still like to have something), but sometimes I forget and it'd be nice if it was set into the game. I often play multiple generations, and having the experience of a child aging up and just being trans rather than me sort of choosing it for them is something I would really appreciate in my game.
