Generations Ideas

I've seen some speculation that a generations type pack could be on the horizon. I don't know if that's the case, but it got me thinking about what I'd like to see in that sort of pack. I'd definitely like to see the following:

  • Toy kitchens for toddlers & children, like the ubiquitous IKEA one (https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/duktig-play-kitchen-birch-60319972/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw0umSBhDrARIsAH7FCodcvubffxxU_Ptm73t7wMyLjWs9fGvgIqPZ8cRUtoCONLACqIkv8a4aAqylEALw_wcB)
  • Another toddler bed that is just...regular. Something that would fit almost any decor. I'd even just be happy with them adding more swatches to the existing toddler beds.

  • Medium sized toys for toddlers and kids
  • More nursery decor and baby items, which would be good gifts for baby showers (which should be added as a new event type)
  • More after school activities for children and teens- sports, dance, band, etc. Stuff for them to practice at home would be added with this, such as new instruments
  • PROM, which should work somewhat like the new weddings where you ask your date, choose both your and your date's outfits, and can follow them to the event. It could take place at a location of your choosing- should come with some new prom attire and decor
  • Midlife crises that can create drama for middle aged sims, such as leading them to consider career change or divorce. Could function similarly to the mood swings in Parenthood
  • Better divorce, with custody arrangements and child support
  • Ability to make wills, inheritance
  • Funerals, different headstones, and graveyards as a lot type

    I would love to see real kids and real babies which mean more chaos Sims 2 like. Kids could fight, run after each other, jump on beds, let their toys everywhere. They could not want to do their homework and cry for nothing.

    Babies could be more than objects. They could be changed, put on a stroller or on a mat etc. We could feed him on the couch or a chair.

    Elders could be great grand parents or very mad type of soured people. They could be nice to kids or very frightening. They could take them home for weekend or holidays. They could do some activity with them and teach them stuff.
    We could see them walking together or sit on a bench in the street. They could join a retirement house and receive some money after they stopped their career.

    I would love all generation to be very different and not centered on adult behaviors. Even teenager could be physically more different than adult. Make them smaller please and different.

    For me this could be the extension that save the game. Honestly. Family is so important and it could be so so fun to play if it was more chaotic and more different between each age. So we can have fun whatever age we're playing.
