The great thing about some goth styles, is that they work really well in shades of rust, copper, and brown, as steampunk styles.
So while us gothic fans would love them in shades of back, charcoal, and gloom, other colours can suit other themes.
And white too. Gotta have some gothic white.
Cos I've got a major crush on Switch from the Matrix.

I'd love to see some corsets, waist cinchers, arm warmers/fingerless gloves, platform boots, more leather, velvet and lace, brocade Romantigoth/vampire Goth stuff. More Victorian clothing/decor/furniture too.
And all of that would work well in steampunk colours too.

Would definitely go for some goth and leather clothes for my goth and alternative sims! Just realized that I dont have many goth sims, and I think its partly because there's not really much of a selection of goth fashion items.
The vampire and magic packs added some nice romantic gothic styles, but there's very little in the way of modern witch, rivet-head, ultra-heavy beat fanatic, or Ãœber-goth latex fairy...
I listen to a lot of Electro-industrial, aggrotech, EBM, stuff with an ultra-heavy beat... Yet there's so little in the way of clothing that fits with the aesthetic. It makes me feel that the developers are lacking the connection with the gothic community that seemed to exist with TS2.
Ts2 had an awesome trench coat! Where's our basic boy baby bat accessory? Bad hair dye, eyeliner, combat boots, and trenchy.
I will admit that I do like the boots that came with RoM. But we still don't have classic winkle-pickers. Batcave goths wear winklepickers, not combat boots. We're a subculture with it's own myriad of subcultures.
