Greenhouse SP

This SP could be a nice addition for yard care and crops farming.

  • New crystal/glass walls patterns for greenhouses.
  • Weed growing gameplay and lawn mowers.
  • Composting bin and new fertilizers.
  • New vertical planter and hydroponic vertical planters.
  • New box planters and hydroponic box planters.
  • New harvestables herbs: mint, oregano, thyme and lavender.
  • Irrigation control for outdoor plants, similar to Ravasheen mod.

Packs compatibility:

  • Seasons: Using a greenhouse, you could plant and harvest during every single season of the year.
  • Cottage Living: Using a new box planter, you can plant oversized crops there, but with crop limitations in size.
  • My Wedding Stories: After harvesting one of the new herbs with you can brew new tea flavors for tea sets.
  • Eco Lifestyle: placing a dew collector in the lot, the plants inside the greenhouse could increase their quality. Greenhouse could consume the water though.

BG update:

  • Composting bin
  • Vertical planter

  • I would rather have a full-on survivalist pack. I mean, they already had a kit for a garden, eco lifestyle, cottage living... Survival would add more skills and things to do.

I wonder if they could tie a greenhouse into it, however, as a survivor will need food all year round.

Well, there is canning, but maybe they could add more ways of preserving food like drying, or brine or smoking. These would be good to preserve perishables like fish, meat, eggs. Would be nice if sims could meet their needs in very basic ways, like cook fish or meat over a campfire, stew some vegetables, sleep on the ground or a bed of leaves, wash in a river or lake, relieve themselves in nature. Also, no telephone or fancy furniture.
  • Perhaps there could be a world that is medieval or post apocalyptic, or anything that makes life a bit of a challenge.

One page mentioned adding zombies again, this might work.
  • The garner SHOULD help also to fertilize the plants in your house. I'm aware that it could cost more which would make sense.
