I like your Little Mermaid retelling. It took me a moment to realize who Marcos is. It seems like a combination of Anderson and Disney since Marcos seems to know what he's doing? Taking Maya to see Alexander as a way to torture Alexander (at least that's what I got from it). Anyway enjoying what you've got so far.
