Handiness: Improve furniture (introduce breaking of furniture)
With handiness sims can improve fridges, sinks, ovens, basically anything electric or plumming to get better stats.
So why not also improve sofa's, beds, or chairs to be more comfortable?
What makes them different? They can't break.
Handiness only applies to items that will break down over time and a sim has to fix.
Having sofa's, beds, and chairs incapable of breaking is very unrealistic. In real life furniture break all the time and the cushion on my at home faux leather couch is so worn that I can feel the wooden beams when I lean on it.
