Having trouble using bb.moveobjects. Help?

Hi! I cannot for the life of me get bb.moveobjects to work. I do shift-control-c, enter the cheat & get confirmation that it is turned on. Then, nothing happens. Even if I am in a downloaded room that was made with bb.moveobjects, I can't switch out objects (ex: a small teddy bear for a toy truck).

Here is a picture: Shouldn't I be able to put the pencil cup on the blank space of the console?

    If there is no slot for an object on a surface, bb.moveobjects won't change that. In order to put the object on the surface that doesn't have a slot for it, use CTRL+9 to elevate its height to the height of the surface and then place it.

    Aha! I didn't know about CTRL+9. I will try that, thank you! I am trying for the empty slot on top of the console. It won't let me put things there normally. Only the slot where the towels are is active.

    Yes, there are surfaces like that where it looks like there should be plenty of room for more objects, but they only have slots in certain areas. MOO + height adjustment (CTRL+9) to the rescue! Hope it worked out for you. :)

    @BryonyRae its a handy technique, however what purpose does holding ctrl serve? I don't need to press that, only 9 to go up and 0 to go down.

    I use CTRL+9 because I also set up camera states in TAB mode, which use the 5-9 keys. If I just press 9, it shifts my view rather than elevating an object. For those who don't use the camera states, just using the 9 or 0 should work fine. :)

    Please help my bb.moveobjects is not working, actually none of my building cheats are working everything else seems to be fine, i tried everything, i don't have any mods, i reinstalled the game. On a previous computer it worked normally i can't find the problem now Standard smile)

    Hello @makamadafaka
    Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair.

    Try testing in a different lot and see if the issues remain.

    Try deleting the cache files,
    https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
    Then try starting a fresh new save game and see if it occurs there also.
