Really disappointed... worked hard on a colonial mansion with a grand staircase... my options are a - leave an awkward amount of flooring around the stairs that serve no purpose and ruin the entire look of the staircase.... or b - attempt all of these options to achieve desired "open to below" effect but end up with my roof appearing on the inside. Big step backward from Sims 3 over something so simple...
(Also, has anyone noticed that things beneath/behind Spandrels don't render properly when you're on a different floor? I assume the game thinks the objects aren't visible and to save memory, doesn't display them... BUT I CAN SEE IT :disappointed: )
Trying really hard to appreciate the countless hours the EA staff have undoubtedly put into this release but finding it difficult to enjoy the game when we're all running across these lost features. I realise a lot of these things are seemingly minor... but when you add them all up...
