- I think it would be nice if we also have an option of multiple type of vacations. Say, for couple, family, friends, and even solo traveller.

Id like to see secret lots, 2-3 for a honeymoon for newlyweds! I think it could be really fun.
This sounds fun too! Instead of exploring the secret place alone, it should allow the honeymooner to explore it together. "xamira99;c-17491416" wrote:

I mean it is not available as a regular community lot. Only available to newlyweds for a limited time.- texxx786 years agoSeasoned AceThis is funny, i was playing a few minutes ago and was thinking about taking my sim's girlfriend to Sylvan Glade for a walk. Is it possible to visit the hidden places with someone else? Like making a group and go together?

I could agree with the secret lot though if it was Paris, Venice, Egypt, etc. really pretty neighbourhoods you could visit with several community venues like restaurants, parks, souvenir shops, Eifel tower, gondola rides, Tut's tomb, a bazaar etc. and hotel. Not too big, maybe 4-5 lots, like Magnolia Promenade.

Here are two of my sims in Forgotten Grotto. I've also done this in Sylvan Glade and the Deep Woods.

If the second sim is not part of your household, you could temporarily move them in via Manage Households for this trip, and then move them back out after the sims leave the secret lot. I do that a lot for story reasons.
Edit - I think there is even a "travel with" option on Deep Woods if the sims are grouped. I can't remember about the others. But I definitely have done it with the "bring to lot" option for family members. - texxx786 years agoSeasoned AceThank you @GlacierSnow !
Do you know if there's a weather pattern in the hidden lots? Or just weather...? - You can also call anyone with phone, and ask them to hang around in that lot when your sim is already at the location :) No need to make the sim part of the household for that :)

You know? It never occurred to me to try that! Guess Sylvan Glade just doesn't look like the type of place you'd get good reception
And, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on what you want) @telmarina There is no weather in Sylvan Glade (there may be mods for it though). And none for Forgotten Grotto either (but it's a cave, so that makes some sense). Deep Woods does have weather though. My sims got rained on a lot the last time they were there. - texxx786 years agoSeasoned AceThe simplest solutions and i couldn't see them :) thank you both!!
I want to take my sim's girlfriend to Sylvan Glade and make some paintings of her 'by reference'. I was thinking that if it had weather i would go several times to get a different feel each time. My sim is very talented and i want her to build a gallery room at home with her paintings and then invite all the neighbourhood and friends to a gala reception at home to admire her work  - I just learned today with bon voyage sims 2 once engaged you can set up a honeymoon. There are also benefits to having a good vacation and consequences for having a bad one looks like a lot of fun!!
