How about a check text messages feature?

We often get text messages from sims wanting to come over, go out, or invite us to hang out at their place. I like this feature a lot, but I have a couple of issues. The messages often disappear ...

I agree. I love the invites but I often find myself declining or missing them due to another event happening in my game or my sim is busy at work. Even if the events were like the party invites in TS3 I would be more pleased.

Also getting an invite out to dinner with your dead father is kind of creepy.
