How about a check text messages feature?

We often get text messages from sims wanting to come over, go out, or invite us to hang out at their place. I like this feature a lot, but I have a couple of issues. The messages often disappear ...

I really wish they'd stop being instant and give us an hour or two to prepare. I always accept the city ones like circus or opera because it gives me plenty of time to prepare.

I hate last second plans irl, so do my Sims.
