How can we make Teens stand out?

While I would love for teenagers to look more like teens, I think at this point devs should focus on giving them teenage personalities rather than looks. The time for cosmetic changes was at the beginning. Now we're 4 years in and I just want good gameplay!

I always say this whenever the topic of teenagers arises - they need activities exclusive to them, like scrapbooking or skateboards. Some kind of crush system would be awesome too. Some system of after school activities would be great as well. Children can be scouts, so teenagers should get their own after school activities.

It's not much, but means a lot. They could look as teenage as possible but as long as they don't have anything actually teenage to do, it doesn't matter. I'd rather have them look tall and mature but have teen personalities and activities than just look their age and nothing else.
