How can we make Teens stand out?

Unfortunately, some teenage experiences are geographical. Prom, cheerleading, the importance placed on school sports, school uniforms, even the age at which a person leaves and the kinds of classes available. Trying to create a universal teenage experience is really difficult. A lot of the teen stuff in previous Sims games has been really American. To the point where the teenage lifestate has felt less true-to-life than Vampires to me.

Teenagers are conflicted. They're growing through so much, and I think every teen struggles with the changes that are happening around them and to them. I'd like to see crushes, growing pains, voice cracks, seemingly random bursts of emotion, and an unwillingness to listen to well-meaning advice at times.

I'm not sure what kind of teen specific activities (besides High School, which I think shoulc be bundled in an EP with University and Primary School) you could add though. College is the reason the young adult life state exists at all. Most successful vloggers, youtubers and twitch streamers tend to be young adults too...
