@Movotti , that is just how our culture is.
It’s a just an old fashioned gendered historical tradition thing, is all. It’s just a special formal occasion for girls. Guys do join in the dances in the quinceneras, but maybe there are gender-neutral parties now (that are probably more like sweet sixteen parties, maybe?)?
I still see some little bits of the quincenera traditions to this day, though.
I would like more types of parties, more special events, and more interactions for teens.
