HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL SIMS YOUTUBER?

First of all, SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH B) .
I want to be a bigger and better sims youtuber, Right now I have like 40 subscribers and for that I am SOOO SOOO happy.
But my goal is to have like 500 so it's a long way til I get there.
I started my channel because I wanted to make machinimas, but I also do some cas videos and cc links.
And even though I LOVE making machinimas, some days I just feel like quitting because it feels awkward to make videos that no one want's to watch x'D
I often feel like I don't know what I'm doing so,
What are your tips for me as a ''new'' sims youtuber? What types of machinima would you like to watch? And what is the best way to ''promote'' your channel? For me it's much more worth to have a few subscribers that actually like what i'm doing instead of thousands that don't.
