Ideas for mermaids in TS4!
i've been thinking of what i would like to see if mermaids return (pretty please) for TS4 and wanted to share and hear what ideas other people have. :p this isn't a fleshed out plan, just some ide...

YES! I support all of this so much and wish this was being created right now!! I love mermaids! Here are some ideas:
I would love for them to create an underwater world like in sims 3 but one that we can visit and explore! Maybe it can come with a map view like any other world but all the options are for mermaid life (different caves to explore, an abandoned ship to explore underwater, a treasure cove, an underwater hunting ground where they can find their food, a hang out place for mermaids where they can lounge, etc) . It could be a hidden world that can only be accessed by mermaids or a regular human sim that has a high skill in scuba diving (it would need to be re-introduced as a skill in the game along with snorkeling).
Interactions: I would love for there to be some new interactions between mermaids and humans. I would like for the mermaids to gain a skill that gives them human knowledge. The higher their skill, the more effective their relationships with humans will be.
If mermaids want to live with regular sims, i would love for mermaids to still need to sleep underwater. Maybe they will need to live somewhere near the beach and it can be a new world that gets introduced! If they don’t make an underwater world or a beach world, then maybe the developers can make an option for mermaids to have more access to the water around them in any world that we currently have in the game (like all the currently unswimmable “beaches” in the get together and pets expansion packs) and they can use it to sleep and hydrate when needed. I would like to see a mermaid swimming around the water by the lighthouse, I think it would look amazing but I might be only dreaming lol.
If we have witches by the time we (hopefully) get mermaids then maybe they can create a potion / spell that allows mermaids to be human for 24 hours or permanently. Maybe they can do the same for vampires and give them the ability to walk during the daytime. This suggestion is so that they have more than 1 way to become human so that it’s not always the same.
