Ideas for New Traits in Sims 4

List your ideas for new traits down below!

Coward trait
These Sims get scared by anything and are often in a Scared mood.
When Cowards stay in a dark room or outside at night, they will get "Afraid of the dark" moodlet.
Cowards will faint when they encounter the Grim Reaper, a ghost, a burglar or fire and will get the "Scared" moodlet.
Cowards will get scared from watching the horror channel on TV.
Cowards will run away from Sims who have slapped them or fought them and won.
Cowards will pee themselves when declared as nemesis.
Cowards will, in panic, initiate fights with Vampires if the vampire Intimidates them.
Cowards will run away from Sims who are Evil, if they see the repo-man, or if they come across Bonehilda.
Cowards might faint after getting pranked.
Cowards tend to have a scared reaction when misfortune strikes nearby Sims.
Cowards look worried most of the time.
Cowards have a different reaction when using a water slide.
  • @FreezerBunnyCowplant: Great idea for a thread. I really like the idea of coward as well. We need more negative traits in sims.

@Gamer_34567544: I really like the idea of "hate the outdoors", "charismatic " and "rebel" especially.

    A few of my suggestions:

Habitual - someone who likes routines, who do not like change and who would like things to stay the same. (Basically the opposite of Adventurous)
Loyal - someone who takes a longer time to form relationships but then in return have a much slower relationship decay. Takes things like cheating much more seriously than others.
No sense of humor - someone who will react negatively to most pranks or jokes, and who will fail when trying to make jokes of their own.
Logical - gain logical skills faster (logic, rocket science, robotics, programming...), but who will have a much harder time to gain skills that require any form of creativity. Will have a tendency to prefer logical activities over creative ones as well.
Trusting (possibly naive) - someone who will trust others and believe in other sims inner goodness. Likes others easily, have an easy time to build relationships. Is the opposite of jealous (cheating on this sim is easy, since they won't believe you do it). Will react negatively when someone talks badly about another sim. Falls for pranks and mischief easily.
Insecure - doubts themselves often, are more tense before tests than others, takes a longer time to get confident moodlets and they last for a shorter period of time, is more prone to embarrassed moodlets than others. Will be surprised (and get strong happy moodlets) from good grades and promotions, but not get stressed if that promotion doesn't come, since they don't expect it anyway. (Basically the opposite of self assured)
Cheap - someone who really dislikes when things cost money. Will get happy moodlets on discount-days, or when buying things on the fleemarket. Will get tense moodlets if they buy more expensive things. Will get happy when things are repaired (especially by themselves) but think it's a waste if new things are bought. Interactions include "ask what it cost" if someone buys a new item for the house, or "haggle" with employees in stores, repairmen and the likes. Can argue about money or berate sims for spending money.
Slow learner - Develops skills slower than others, especially skills that requires thinking or creativity. Gets much happier than others when earning skillpoints.
Sloppy - Someone who is less likely to do things well than others. Quality of food, projects, homework, term papers, woodworks, flower arrangements... are more often of lower quality but are finished faster. The sim is also less likely to care about the low quality (happy moodlets even for low quality items). Even if the sim finishes faster, to get something from poor quality to high quality (such as term papers or presentations in DU) takes longer, and will gain negative moodlets such as bored, tense.
Hates animals - fairly self explanatory. Like hates children but with animals.
  • Hates the outdoors, similar to what they had in Sims 3

    Charismatic

    Rebel

Fizz Wizz- creates fizzy drinks quickly, offer fizzy drink tips, and knows a few extra recipes than other Sims. Can "fix" poorly made beverages.

A trait that is pro industrial.

Birthright (kids only) gives children the ability to use their supernatural powers early.

Entrepreneur: would rather make money by selling products more than climbing the corporate ladder. These Sims may discuss their business idea, have a tense moodlet if they haven't made a sale recently, become happy when listing things on Plopsy, and they get very tense if they get a job. Available for teens and up.
  • Neurotic - Same as TS3. Tends to feel tense about things (e.g. objects and hygiene) but can check objects, wash hands, share worries etc. to relieve stress.
Cultured - Likes art/writing/music/movies/gourmet cooking with increased skill gains and feels happy/inspired at museum/library/theatre venues.
Shy - Feels tense/avoids interacting with strangers and is slow to make friends, but feels happy/confident around friends.
Equestrian - Increased horse riding skill gain and feels happy around horses. Makes friends with horses faster and has special interactions.
Occult fan/sceptic - Self-explanatory. Likes or dislikes researching, discussing and being around occults. Fans can write horror books.
