Poor Rosella. I do feel sorry for her, but not as sorry as I feel for Roderick. Whether her intentions were purely noble or not, she was ready to start a new beginning with Victor, and how terrifying to have your life thrown into a spiral like that as a young woman of the time.

I just replied to your comment on my blog, but I love that this was your favorite chapter! I wouldn't say it was my least favorite, but I guess it was kind of bittersweet for me. I regret not putting more focus on Victor in earlier chapters.
