IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO RECORD A MACHINIMA WITHOUT USING THE IN GAME CAMERA?

Hey guys, sorry for my bad grammar but it's 4am where I am and I haven't slept since 10am the day before. At this point I've tried everything....but my videos recorded by the in game camera still turn out choppy and skip, most likely because of my CC and Mods but I refuse (stubborn ik) to delete anything from my mods folder. Is a certain program I can use to finally make the machinima? I've always wanted to know how other machinima artists make perfect-godlike videos with ZERO lag, skipping, or choppiness
