Key Lime Pie

I was shocked when I looked at all of the recipes and realised that key lime pie was missing. That was a staple in TS3, and feels as Sim-ish as freezer bunnies or the grim reaper! Anyone else want to see it back?

    I'd call it delicious! :)

Vegemite on toast is delicious. And also not in the game. :/
  • I am always up for more recipes. I do wish guests wanted the pie as mush as they want cake after dinner for dinner parties. I always want my sims to make the apple pie for Thanksgiving but they never eat it.

Key Lime pie is apart of Southern Foodways in the United States. For those who ave not had it, it is quite good.

Ooooh! I'd also call that delicious and I wouldn't mind having that in the game either... :)

I haven't tried vegemite but I like marmite on toast and I'm told it's quite similar.

They are. From what I remember, marmite and promite are slightly sweeter than Vegemite, but otherwise much the same.

Perhaps in game they could just go with Yeastymite
Made from the scrapings found in the bottom of a barrel of Yeasybrew

It might appease those of us who come from cultures who like a smear of the black stuff on our toast or crumpets.
  • If anyone has had lemon merengue pie, key lime pie is similar.
I think this desert was made famous by folks in the Florida keys.
It is the Florida state pie.

@SimAlexandria one of the links below says Lemon Merengue was created when folks couldn't get their hands on key limes. I grew up on lemon merengue and it is delicioso

Couple links about the history of Key Lime Pie

@Movotti what is yeasybrew, vegemite, and marmite?
